The suspension bridge is one of Sweden\u2019s largest constructions. It is 180 metres above the river \u00c5ngermans\u00e4lven.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">The High Coast Trail is a hiking trail that is 127 km long. It stretches between Horn\u00f6berget at the mouth of the river \u00c5ngerman\u00e4lven and central \u00d6rnsk\u00f6ldsvik. It is divided into 13 sections and each section has at least one place where you can stay overnight in a cabin or cottage.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation had a panel of judges select a number of candidates for the prize Sweden\u2019s Best Nature Area. The public voted the High Coast as winner in 2016. <\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">The High Coast, in particular the island of Ulv\u00f6n, is home to the infamous Fermented Baltic Herring in Sweden. The first commercial production canned the fermented delicacy in approximately 1890. The annual opening night for the fermented Baltic herring season is held on the third Thursday of August each year.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">The High Coast is home to approximately 110 nature reserves and one national park (Skuleskogen National Park). Nature reserves are developed to protect natural areas, preserve biological diversity and care for and conserve natural environments and species as well as set aside areas suitable for recreation.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"fas fa-arrow-right\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">H\u00f6ga Kusten Turism is the destination\u2019s sales and marketing company that has worked towards strengthening the tourism industry in the High Coast since 2010.
